Where Have I Been?

No where, but Hap was in Louisville all last week and I was without the internet after Tuesday. So, that is why the lack of posts and since I am tired tonight, no pictures for tonight. I will attempt to post all the pictures I took from last week tomorrow after I get off work (don't hold your breath!!)

The last three

Here are a few pictures from our last three days. Our camo cuties on Wednesday. We received 4 inches of snow on Thursday. While I was at work, Sam and Hap shoveled off the drive way. Well, Hap shoveled, Sam rang Norma's doorbell and said "me warm up Norma house!" ha... always knew he was a smart boy! They also came down to my work and scraped off my car windows. Very nice of them. Thanks guys! I love how our backyard looks, but I really like it with the snow. Sam getting up close and personal with his baby brother! He doesn't understand personal space yet:) Hello Andrew... meet sweet potato on Friday! "Come on mom, where's the butter and brown sugar?!" Happy Friday.

Dentist or Sales Associate?

Well, I did it... I went to the dentist. I haven't been in about 2 years for various reasons, mainly because I have just put it off. Hap has gone and changed dentists in this 2 year period. He didn't like our other dentist because he said that the dentist talked to him like a 3rd grader. I liked him. Anyway, I was skeptical of this new dentist because he has sold Hap two different things during his visit. The first item he offered was a $130 Rotodent Toothbrush and the second is some specialized toothpaste that has fluoride in it. Or something like that. Well, my experience was no different. The hygienist first tried to sell me a new oral cancer screening. It's about $60 and is recommended for people of all ages, even with no risk factors. She talked to be about someone dies every hour of oral cancer, how a tortilla chip can cause oral cancer if it cuts my lips and blah blah blah. Then she started to clean my teeth and tried to sell me the Rotodent. At this point...

6 Mile New Year

Image
Well, we ended 2009 with a great night at the Jablonski's. They are always such great hosts and willing to open their home, we so appreciate that! We enjoyed some delish Ham and Beans plus some (shweaty?!) cake balls thanks to Amanda:) The boys had a great time getting all the toys out and the adults enjoyed some games. It was fun to ring in the New Year with friends. This morning, Hap and I participated in the Resolution Revolution Run. This was a race ran downtown that you could choose to run 3-6-9 miles. When we arrived downtown the temp was 11 degrees... brrrr... but at the end of the race it was a balmy 14 degrees!! After we started going though it wasn't so bad. The first mile was COLD but after that we warmed up and ran 6 miles, the farthest either of us has run. We did it in 1hr 3min 57sec. We were happy with that time and for running the entire run. I have already signed up for race #2 in February and we are looking forward to seriously starting our Mini Marathon tra...
