Normal Days

Image
Just some normal days around here to share and remember. The evening weather here is so beautiful and these two enjoyed some roller blading and a run for me one evening! Working on math. Andrew made this little picnic table out of popsicle sticks and I found his mouse set up like this on his bedroom floor haha!  Pretty creative and cute. Hap had a meeting, so I brought the kids to a park nearby his meeting.  Abigail made friends with this little girl and she was teaching her how to play rock, paper, scissors. Listening to some Toby Mac in the morning. Jacob can be found like this many late evenings. Or like this during the daytime hours! The twins were invited over to a friend's house this week and they loved their time at Nala's house!!  Nala's mom took lots of pictures after I left.

It’s Summer

We celebrated the 1st day of summer by an evening treat of ice cream pops! Happy Summer!!

Father’s Day

Today we headed to a new beach to continue our tour of National Parks in the country!  These two are waiting patiently for us to leave. This was a new beach (and park) for us and it was really great.  We will certainly try and go back again this summer! I didn't take many picture but we had such a fun time.  Kids enjoyed building a sand castle fort, riding their boogie boards in the huge waves, and eating snacks! And once we arrived back home we celebrated the best beach stuff hauling, family worship leading, hard worker father with a cherry pie. Twas a good day had by all!

Phone Pictures

Image
Lots of random phone pictures from the last couple weeks, in no particular order.  You'll see lots of soccer pictures as soccer camp has started, lots of homeschooling pictures as homeschool-lite has started, and a bunch of other random things from our days! Andrew is taking an online guitar course.  This particular day his break time was outside on his roller blades so instead of take them off between his courses, he just kept his gear on. Jacob is studying about Jamestown in his online history course.  He had a project to recreate Jamestown.  I kinda thought I picked a curriculum with no projects but I think I was wrong! My one snake plant has gone crazy and I know have four snake plants.  I also received a clipping of a plant and that turned into two and a couple other random plants I have collected over the past year. Andrew, and you'll see a picture of Abigail, holding the Dome of the Rock in their hands. Sam hard at work.  His online classes are...

Kindergarten Graduation

Image
The twins have been talking about graduation for weeks now and today was finally the day.  They have had an amazing year of Kindergarten, we LOVE Tabitha Kumi Kindergarten and feel so thankful that they were able to experience the year- mostly uninterrupted.  I am also thankful that they were able to do an outside graduation to celebrate the twins and all their friends. All of the Kindergarteners ready for the program! They put on the most precious program that I was able to record.  I'll see if I can get the videos on the blog. Abigail waiting in line for her name to be called. Talitha is a Lutheran German sponsored school, so they learn German, Arabic, and English.  Abigail getting her picture with the German principal and the Arab principal. Abram waiting in line for his turn. The class and the teachers. Can you spot Abigail? What about proud Abram? Golly, I am so proud of these two.  I will admit that it brought happy tears to my eyes watching them today. ...
