30 Days!

Image
The sky was beautiful after a storm that came through Sam has been asking a lot about moving to our new house, so today we made a moving calendar.  We have 30 days until we fly out.  Everyday we will put a sticker on the calendar. Funny story... remember that donkey Sam wants?  Well, today we received an email from our leaders on the field that said they saw a sheep and goat herd with two shepherds.  One shepherd was an older man and the other was a young boy on a donkey!  That might be Sam:) Happy Saturday!

Some Pictures

Hello!!  We do have Internet access but they turn it off during the sessions and we have to go to a public area when we are off our sessions.  So, it isn't the easiest.  But things won't be the easiest overseas either, so this is a good stretching/learning experience:) I have lots of pictures to share over this last week.  Andrew wanted to dress like Jacob one day and really wanted their picture taken before heading to school.  Before school isn't typically a good time to do anything because we are always running late but I am glad we snapped this picture! I have missed not being with Jacob during the day.  I miss all the boys, but certainly being away from Jacob isn't easy.  I can leave sessions anytime I need to so that I can feed him and sometimes I sneak a little cuddle and giggle time in. Sam and Jacob playing together after school. We saw a double rainbow one evening we were outside after the rain.  I could only get a portion of the rai...

Six Months Young!

Image
Jacob, You are six months young today.  How has this happened?  How can it be that you are half a year old?  You are just the most laid back little guy.  You giggle and smile at mommy, daddy and your brothers so much. You roll everywhere and get to your toys that way.  You can get up in the crawling position often, but are not close to crawling yet.  You are starting to sit up, but you are still pretty wobbly! You take 2 good naps during the day but don't sleep at night very well.  You are eating about every 3.5 hours during the day.  You eat oatmeal 1x a day and have tried peas and bananas.  You like both of them so far! You are wearing size 3 diapers.  You wear size 6-9 month clothes.  You weight 15lb 3oz according to the doctors visit on Monday.  You have an ear infection and are on an antibiotic. You love being outside and looking out the window.  You love your Jumper.  I have noticed two little birth marks...

Week 3

Image
I can't believe week 3 is already finished!  Every session, every meeting, every talk is jammed full of helpful information.  God has been challenging some of my thinking through the morning sessions going through the book of Acts.  Looking chapter by chapter of what "sent out" ones truly do.  We are really enjoying the teachings we have had. The boys continue to do well.  Andrew had a few rough days.  Sickness spreads like wildfire when you are living so close together to other people.  I think towards the end of the week he wasn't feeling well.  He is acting better today though.  Sam has stayed well through these weeks.  Jacob is congested again, but what baby isn't with this crazy weather!  One night, Hap was away playing basketball and I did bedtime.  The boys and I read "Owl Babies" together.  They are precious (and silly!)  One of our quad mates received a package in the mail from her mother and in the package ...
