Fall Fun

Image
Another Halloween is upon us and this year was just as fun as the past few!!  I spent a day crafting costumes from supplies we can find here and everyone was happy with how they turned out! Jacob was the amazing Batman! Abram was a 50's boy.  The perfect costume for him because he isn't into costumes :) And his 50's poodle skirt gal.  Abigail is wearing my grandma's pearls. Heading to the sock hop! A top secret spy.  I probably shouldn't even tell you his name, he's that secret. And the cutest little artist I ever did see, sweet Andrew. Gangs all here and looking good!! LOVE this bunch of kids.  They are amazing in so many ways. These two sure do love each other. Matchy, matchy. We headed to the 6th fall festival at our friend's house.  The couch has grown and shrunk and all over again, here are the kids this year! These two sure love each other, too! October

Image
October might be my favorite month here.  The weather is cooler and it's just nice to be outside yet still feels comfortable inside, too!  I do miss the changing colors of leaves but fresh olive oil makes up for it ;) Abigail playing with Mayar. Jacob got out some of the farm stuff the other day and set up a little area.  It hasn't been played with much so it was good to see it out and being played with! Abram trying on some new-to-him jammies. We have had a team in this week and have been extremely busy.  Sam was more than willing to help Jacob with his homework while I helped Andrew.  It was sweet to hear them reading together. How do I resist this precious smile? Silly and sweet all in one. On Wednesday the team and I went to do a project with some ladies.  We talked about planting love in our hearts and did a planing project.  They actually loved the planning part and, I believe, the message resonated in their head...

Rest Time

Precious Abigail during nap time.  Loving on her Doc and Lambie. Meanwhile in the upper bunk..... Jacob decided to do some coloring while the twins rested.  He loves to color! Sundays are good for resting and napping!!

Our Week

Just a few pictures from this past week.  Hap was out of town until Tuesday morning and this week has flown by since then.  Here we go... Last weekend I worked on some sewing projects.  I made a pillow for Abigail's bed with this fabric.  I love it.  I intend to make a cushion for the pew bench that is in their room but I haven't done that yet. I also worked on Halloween costumes.  Andrew got in on the action, too. I just thought this was funny for some reason. A sneak peak of Sam's costume and a selfie.  The kid loves selfies! The olive harvest will take place next week for us.  We have a group coming into town and they will help complete this with us. I will certainly miss this view from K & B's house.  They left this week and we certainly had many fun memories from their balcony and apartment.  They will be missed, even more than the view! Kris gave me a new candle that I lite one night.  I l...

Afternoon at the Park

Image
This afternoon the kids and I headed to a local park to run off some energy and enjoy the fresh air.  I picked them up from school with a picnic packed as well as their skateboards and off we went.  It was a great way to spend a few hours before tackling homework and bedtime! Off to the races.... This kid is growing and maturing so much! I don't know what he's saying to me but he is quick on his scooter! We headed to the playground equipment after our picnic and races.
