Out of Routine!

Image
I am out of the blogging routine for sure but I don't want to be!  So here is catch up with the hopes of doing better. Last week I met these crazy college friends for some laughing and talking!  I don't know what happened to my soda fountain picture but wow, soda machines have changed in three years!  I didn't know how to work it and I'm not even joking. On Thursday we headed back to Patoka.  Hap, myself, and the twins stayed Thursday night and headed to Decatur for a Women's event Friday and Saturday.  The boys stayed Friday and Friday night on the farm and had a great time. The boys have been wanting to fish and they finally got their opportunity. Caught one! These pictures are out of order but Andrew caught the first fish :)  He was so proud. Dane and Jacob are funny together and play very nicely! On Saturday, the boys headed to Salem to be with my parents for the day and night before meeting u...

Twin Talk: 4 Months

Image
These little sweeties are 4 months old today.  It is hard to get them both to smile at the same time, so I included a few pictures! Little Miss Abigail, like the meaning of your name "my father's joy", what a joy you are to us!  You have become so social with us over the last month.  One of my favourite me memories of you this month will be waking up to you cooing and squeezing in delight.  You are trying to roll over, it seems, and will get up onto your side but that is as far as you go.  You are nursing every 2.5-3 hours during the day and a couple times at night.  You aren't sleeping as well as you were when we were back home but I'm sure you will get that figured out soon.  You are refusing your pacifier most of the time.  You weighed 7lb 13 oz and 22 inches long at your doctor's appointment last week.  She was not happy with how little you are, so we are trying to beef you up with more frequent feedings and supplementing mo...

The Rest of the Week

Image
I did a good job blogging at the beginning of the week and then fell off.  So, here is the rest of the week! This is SOOO random but Andrew is OCD about toe lint.  When he would come home from school, he would immediately go into the bathroom and clean out between his toes.  He would also do it before bed or whenever changing socks.  It bothers him when Abigail or Abram has toe lint.  Today the weather was beautiful and the babies were hanging out with just onesies on.  I looked over and Andrew was cleaning out toe lint form between Abigail's toes!  Funny and weird all in one!!  :) Hap went out of town again today and so the boys and I busted out some craft supplies someone donated for us to use while we are here.  As you can see, Sam made a bracelet and a necklace.  The other boy's made the same.  He also drew a picture of Africa. Like I said, today was absolute perfection in terms of weather.  Tonight we played ...
