Our.Days.

Image
Our days have been busy since Hap left for his trip. Well, I say our really I probably mean MY days have been busy!! Yesterday we had Lions Den at church and Sam played with his friends in the ball room. Then I started cleaning out their closets yesterday. I had summer and winter clothes jammed into their closets and couldn't find anything. So, my project both yesterday and today was to clean out old clothes and go through the tubs in the garage to figure out what the boys needed. Wow... lots and lots of clothes we have! We have also been just hanging out at home. Our days are full of playing, changing diapers, some whining and lots of watching the movie "Cars"- Sam's newest favorite! Tonight, Sam was invited over to Micah's house to paint a pumpkin. Good timing because the other one he painted rotted! Micah and Sam painted so nicely and LOVE playing with eachother. They are so precious together. Caleb and Andrew also got to see eachother a little bit tonight. G...

Bathtime.Blessings.

Image
Here the boys are tonight after bathtime! Sam likes to be wrapped up in his towel and walk around. As you can see, he thinks it is hilarious:) The boys are such a blessing to us! I talked with Hap briefly this morning and they made it to Indonesia and when I spoke with him, they were checked into their hotel room getting ready for bed. Tomorrow (Monday) they will fly to another part of the island and do some orientation work. He said everyone was doing well. Will update on here when I find out more.

Zoo.Boo.

Image
Tonight, the boys and I headed to the Zoo for the Zoo Boo. We met up with the Jablonski clan and had a fun evening of seeing the animals and getting a little candy! Sam is a monkey this year and Andrew is a leopard! Lucas and Micah are Cowboys and Baby Caleb is a cow. Sam, Andrew and Caleb were the cutest animals at the zoo for sure:) (I'll take more this coming week to show you their adorable tails!!) Sam is showing you his Banana Bag for his loot! Sam is nine hands tall. And Andrew is six hands tall. A cowboy and a monkey, unlikely friends, but the best of friends! My sweet leopard! And onry monkey:)

Hap's.Trip.

Image
Hap and the team headed out yesterday afternoon for their jouney to Indonesia. They will be gone for 15 days and will be working with a missionary couple, Jacob and Alison. As I write now, they should be in the Hong Kong airport and it is Sunday morning already. I probably won't hear anything until tomorrow afternoon or so about their arrival and will update when able! The team is Scott, Hap, Bev, Tom, Sarah and Larry Please pray for their safety and health. Please pray that they find "people of peace" in whom to share the gospel. Please pray for Jacob and Alison as they are serving the Indonesian people as missionaries.

Old.Man.

Well, our baby is 12 sweet weeks old today! What a big boy he has become and way too quickly! 12 weeks is also significant because it means the end of my maternity leave. Don't be too sad because I am going to be going back to work supplemental, which basically means I'll pick up shifts when they need me and when I want to. I like my work but look forward to this new chapter in my life of being a stay at home mommy too... best of both worlds for sure! My first day is tomorrow *tear* but it is just for a short eight hour shift! I remember with Sam and know it will be true this time as well, I certainly miss him when I'm gone, but it makes coming home so much sweeter:) Happy Wednesday!

Catch.Up.

Image
Well, it's been busy around the Jolliff household since I last blogged. I attended a Evangelism Explosion event on Saturday, had a send off party for the Pac Rim Team Saturday night, baby shower Sunday afternoon followed by Hap playing football and myself going to the Women's Committee meeting, Monday was a work day for Hap and I had a class to attend at work, topped off by getting my Swine Flu shot and we wrapped the day up by packing for Hap's trip. Today was beautiful out, so the boys and I spent the afternoon outside. The three of us enjoyed a walk (thanks to Jay and Jen for letting us borrow the stroller) and riding Sam's tricycle. We are thankful for the opportunity to get outside. :) Happy Monday!

Quiet.Times.

Image
One of my favorite times of the day is when I have the opportunity to spend one on one time with Andrew. I love spending time, of course, with both boys but especially like being able to focus my attention solely on Andrew. Here are some pictures from today's mommy-baby time! I could eat him up:) "I like spending time with mommy." "Those toys look fun, how do I get to them?" Happy, Blessed Friday!

Work.or.Play.

One is watching "Thomas" and one is working... you be the judge:)

Deja.Vu.

Well, this isn't the same post, we went to the Pumpkin Patch today! Today we went with a group of ladies from work and their kiddos. It was fun to see the gals from work and for the kids to play together. We went to the same pumpkin atch and Sam was, again, very excited about the whole thing and kept saying "Bumpin Batch" on the way down. We did experience two new things today at the pumpkin patch, falling in a mud puddle first thing out of the car and pooping out of a diaper:) However, it was a fun afternoon!! Searching for another great pumpkin... Claiming it as his own and putting it into his sack... So excited about riding on the "beels" (hay bails in the wagon) Andrew enjoyed his day at the pumpkin patch in my front carrier, he was great! Such great fun with the boys! I LOVE FALL:)

Pumpkin.Painting.

Since using a really sharp object around a toddler and infant is not Pediatrician recommended, we decided to paint the pumpkins! Sam took it very seriously and they will look great on our mantle when they dry! As for Andrew, he is a child prodigy:)
