Happy Halloween 2020

Image
All the pictures are backwards on here for some reason, so here we go..... from end to beginning! Usually for Halloween, we get together with team members.  However since we are the only folks here, we decided to still dress up and do some trick or treating.  We organized the kids at different doors of the house and had one of the siblings go around to knock and get candy.  It ended up being really fun!! Thanks to day after Halloween sale last year in the States, costumes were already together for this year!!   Introducing Captain America, a lumberjack, a zoo keeper, Buzz Lightyear, and a sweet bee. Lumberjack Andrew A-bee-gail Jacob as Captain America Zookeeper Sam Sweetest Buzz Lightyear Abram We enjoyed some mummy-dogs and soup for dinner and finished the night watching "Peter Rabbit"! We never know what will be memorable in life, what things we take with us and remember when we get older.  However, I do hope that when the kids are grown and are dressin...

Happy Monday!

Image
Just some pictures from the last week! One night, the kids and I were playing around on my phone taking funny pictures and they sure did turn out funny! Our weather has really cooled down and the evening time is so beautiful to be outside.  I'm still enjoying our geraniums, too! He's one cool cat! Sam had to put together a small working circuit for his science class.  He really enjoyed it!! Beautiful autumn sunset We went to a friend's house and the food was delicious.  Sam, and the rest of us, approved! Been riding a lot! Pretty dragon fruit in the market again.  I didn't purchase any but it sure did smell good! I am so happy to report that soccer is back in action for Andrew.  He is going one time a week and last week was his first week.  This session is on an outdoor, turf field and he had a wonderful time.  It's good to return to some sort of normalcy! The twins are twinning Sometimes the best part of my day is tea-time around 11am with the other n...

Stuck in the Middle With You

Image
I realized in my last post that I didn't post a single picture of Jacob!  Ugh! Hap and I were recently talking about how it seems Jacob gets a little stuck being in the middle.  The twins get a lot of attention because they are less independent and talk more between the two of them than the rest of us combined :) and Sam and Andrew get attention because they need more help with homework.   On the flip side, Jacob doesn't need much help with homework and just gets it done, he is pretty independent and is happy to be by himself.  He can often be found reading or drawing quietly on his top bunk bed covered up with a big fuzzy blanket, even in the middle of summer!  However, what I have also noticed in Jacob thrives with a bit of one-on-one time.  He went to the grocery store and fruit market with just me last weekend and enjoyed it so much.  He actually enjoys reviewing homework with Hap or myself because it's a bit of one-on-one time.  Jacob also en...

Locked Out!

Image
I've been locked out of my blog account.  I tried to upload pictures from my phone and apparently put in the wrong password too many times.  Anyway, I got it figured out today. It's not feeling like fall around here but I did find some fabulous pumpkins at the market! I also found this on my phone! Morning view The kids still enjoy painting.  This is the final product for Abigail.  They all painted a sloth and they turned out so cute! Andrew's sloth, Abigail's sloth, and Abram's slot on the end! This is my view three days a week out the window.  Unfortunately, the office I'm working in has been moved and now no window!  Bummer! Hap has been working on getting the roof resurfaced and the water tanks moved.  We hope this helps with some mold issues we have in the house as well as keeping the house a tad warmer and drier. Checking out the water situation. I hope these two stay best buds as they grow! Hap loves the white board when working with the k...
