Merry Christmas

Image
We have had a nice, relaxing Christmas Day!   We woke up and ate our traditional egg casserole, then moved onto stockings.  The kids received some simple goodies in their stockings and they were so excited.  Then we went to the old train track in Jerusalem and participated in our virtual Home Alone 5K.  I have been training and did the 5K in November and the 10K and 15K in December.  Today everyone ran-roller bladed-biked their 5K.  Everyone received a Home Alone medal and had a fun time.  This afternoon has been filled with eating, playing games, and watching "The Chosen" Christmas special with two special friends.  Abram is the true dart champion today!!  (The pictures are in reverse order) It's been a special and simple day celebrating Jesus. Christmas Eve

The other night we went to find some big Christmas trees.   We stopped in Beit Jala to buy some corn on the cob and to see the city tree. LOVE this picture and we do love Bethlehem! And then we made our way to Manger Square to see the big Christmas tree and the church lit up at night.

7th Birthday

We had a great day celebrating Abigail and Abram turning 7.  It's cliche to say but I really can't believe they are turning 7, time has truly gone quickly!  They are easy to celebrate and it was the sweetest, rainy day loving on these twins!  They are a gift and we're so thankful for them! Abram is a talkative, hardworking, sensitive, and attentive boy who loves all things Vikings football and playing outside! Abigail is a self-assured, creative, kind-hearted, and helpful girl who loves all things baby dolls and pretend play. They are best friends and truly enjoy being with each other most of the day.
