Jacob's Program

Image
Ok, I have figured out how to configure video on my computer from my video camera easily!  yea... I'm so excited. So without further ado, here is Jacob's program that they put on at school for Mother's Day!  It's a little long but enjoy :)

Catch Up and Last Minute

Image
Just want to get caught up on my pictures and hope to get a video up later today.  Internet will be shut off tonight, so trying to get it done! Last week we were invited to a local indoor play area.  They have huge bounce houses, games, and ride on toys.  It was a huge money pit amount of fun for the boys!! Andrew and his buddy Sami. Some got ahold of my camera for some pictures.  I had about fifty but I picked the best three to share ;) We have found homes for four puppies and three remain.  We are hopeful yet to find homes for them. I love how these two link arms when they lay close together! These pictures are from the weekend when we had all the pups! Ok, check back for some video later... hopefully!

Look What I Found!

Hard to believe that in one week from today I could use this little jewel that I found in a bag in our closet.  I laughed when I found it but then stowed it safely in my wallet for future use ha!! I have been packing and sorting like crazy when I am able.  I think we are in a good spot with packing and now I'm changing my focus on cleaning out the pantry and cleaning the house.  I have two cute helpers, that's for sure! Abby has mixed feelings about traveling but I told her that it will be a fun time for all and Abram is thinking how dramatic his sister is ;) Lots to do before we leave but it will be worth it when we get on the plane!

Twin Talk: 3 Month Stats

Image
The babies had their three month checkups today and received one vaccination as well as an oral medication. Up first... Abram!  He weighs 8 lbs and measures 21.6 inches.  His head is a whopping 15.7 inches.  He is growing and developing well! Then Abigail had her turn.  She weighs 7.3 lbs and measures 21 inches.  Her head is smaller and measures 14.5 inches.  She is a little congested but overall checked out well.

Yom Il-Imm

Mother's Day was celebrated here on Saturday.  It is a big holiday for people. On Friday a teammate had the kids over for a craft time and so Hap and I went out for a Mother's Day date.  I'm a cheap date and we enjoyed some delicious food for $10!  It was so yummy and probably the last time eating falafel for a while. I'm so thankful for this guy!  He gave me a leather bag for Mother's Day! The babies joined us.  Abigail woke up and talked to me but little brother slept the entire time. The boys crafted me a vase and tissue paper flowers.  They were so proud! On Saturday, Jacob had a program at his school.  He sang a couple songs with motions, it was cute. I have some video I'll try to get up soon.  Abigail and Abram "enjoyed" the blaring music... you could only see their mouth crying but couldn't hear them ha! I had to take a picture of this grandmother.  This puts a whole new meaning on...

Twin Talk: 3 Months

Image
Abram darling, you are three months old today and growing so big!  Your smiles melt my heart and you are full of them.  When you are almost done nursing, you look up and give me the greatest smiles.  You have also begun to "coo" this month.  You still prefer to sleep on your belly and have slept well over the last week.  You seem close to rolling over, especially when you get mad :)  You like to cuddle but also love to lay under your mat and smile at the blinking sun light.  You are more fond of your pacifier this month, which is nice!  You were sick this past month and on antibiotics but seem to be better now.  Your brothers' are crazy for you and so is your dad and I.  We love you darling boy!   Abigail, I never knew I would enjoy having a baby girl so much until I had you.  You are such a great addition to this rowdy house of boys!  You love to have your hands up by your face and suck on your fingers.  You ar...

This and That

Image
I find myself posting less often but maybe more pictures when I do!   Jacob enjoyed some time with the Kindle (alone!) watching "Peppa Pig" while he waited on his brothers' to get home.  Such a big, sweet boy! Hard to believe that two weeks from today we will be flying back to the United States for a few months (more on this in another post!).  Over a month ago, we received the twins passports as well as their consulate birth abroad certificates.  Basically the CBA is their birth certificate.  I didn't want to post it online but it is really beautiful and fancy! Over the weekend we visited with a friend from Indianapolis who was touring the country.  Exciting that Miss Vicky will be Andrew's Sunday School teacher when we return.  To say the least, he is PERFECT for her class since he likes to love and she likes to cuddle!  The boys had a great time reconnecting with her and asking her lots of questions. The puppies are getting bi...

Psalm 127:3

Less sleep! More crying! Endless diapers! More laundry! Thicker waistline! Less free time! Totally worth it! Psalm 127:3 "Children are a gift from the Lord."

I Like to Smile, Smiling's my Favorite!

Name that movie while you enjoy these smiling faces from this afternoon! Something that made me smile today was looking down at the babies after they nursed themselves to sleep and they were holding hands.  I wish I could have gotten a picture but my heart about burst from my chest. I'm so blessed to be the mom of these five kids!!
