Illinois.Troop.

Today we had visitors from Illinois. Hap's Aunt Sally and Uncle Neal came over this morning to visit and then Hap's parents, brother and Grandma came over in the early afternoon. We had a nice lunch and a nice time visiting this afternoon. Sam enjoyed entertaining everyone and playing!

Happy.Thanksgiving.

I don't have any pictures to post tonight, but we here in Indianapolis are wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving. We all have so much to be thankful for this year and always. "Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His love endures forever." Hope to post some pictures on Friday:)

... and Sam likes to try to make ALL shoes fit:)

Feeding.Time.

Eatting is usually an adventure around here. Well tonight, Sam was eatting and I was preparing some food for tomorrow, not really paying attention to him. When I turned around, he had his bowl up to his mouth eatting that way. Much easier than a spoon apparently. In the second picture he is enjoying a juice box, a new treat for him:)

Goes to Ms. Susan! Sam just loves going to Susan's house and enjoys playing with her boys. We are so so so thankful that this past year has worked out for Sam to be with Susan. We know she loves on him and instructs him lovingly. Susan sent me these pictures today of the boys together yesterday. They are so cute, I just had to share! Thanks Susan!! Sam goes early on Tuesdays since Hap has school and I work, so here the boys are looking cute in their jammies! Susan emailed and said that she really does supervise the boys (like I was worried!). She said they climbed up here and like any good mother, she snapped a picture before getting them off the toy box:)

After coming home from a LOOONG 12 hour shift, nothing is better than this:) A happy boy and a wonderful husband!

Sam's.Monday.

Today, Sam and I hung out around the house just playing. We climbed onto toys and onto the rocking chair, rearranged the utensil drawers, stacked legos over and over... it was a fun day together:) We even saw lots of snow flurries... winter is coming! ("Hello"... the phone just rang.)

Catherine's.Christening.

Image
This past weekend Sam and I made a quick trip to St. Louis to attend Catherine's Christening and to visit with family. This year is was a little more difficult to get the three little ones to sit still for a picture. Miss Emily is so sweet and quiet, Michael wasn't feeling well, and Sam was checking things out as usual. It was a nice day and we look forward to seeing everyone around Christmas time this year. (We haven't been to a Purcell Christmas in three years!) Quick... take the picture! Don't worry... they are friends!

Where's.Waldo?

I'm right here but I have been wrapped up in a book and have neglected the blog. So sorry!!! I will blog tomorrow (hopefully) when I'm off work:) Keep checking and thanks for being patient!

Vote.Maverick.

Maverick.

Hopefully you voted today after prayerfully considering both candidates positions on issues such as marriage, abortion and the war. It's it great to know that no matter what happens today, tomorrow or the day the new president is sworn in, God is in control?! I have decided not to post any pictures of our little Maverick today, but I wanted to share this funny video with you. Oh come on... laugh:)

Sam and I (along with the social committee) made 60 carmel apples for the girls at work last week. He had to help stir and clean out the bowls. He was a sticky mess... his eye lashes were stuck together, it was in his hair, his fingers were covered. He had a great time and so did we!

Few.More.

Here are a few more pictures from Saturday afternoon before heading back to Indianapolis. Sam was sad to leave Grandpa:( And this is what happens when you combine a peanut butter sandwich, banana, oreos, and little hands:)

Scarecrow.Sam.

Image
Happy Halloween! Sam had a fun time walking around and visiting everyone in his Scarecrow outfit. We were able to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Jolliff in Patoka on Friday afternoon and also do some Trick or Treating at Gigi's that afternoon. He enjoyed seeing everyone. We then headed to Salem and visited my Grandma Rose before heading to FBC-Salem for Trunk or Treat. Out of the hundreds of kiddos there, there wasn't another scarecrow!! If I do say so myself, he looked pretty cute that evening and I was happy with how the outfit turned out. Boo:)
