The Jolliff Family

Sam and I played dress up today. Well, sorta! The first picture is an outfit that was Hap's when he was a baby. Jessica gave it to us after Sam was born, but I had just never tried it on him. It fit, though a little snug!! The second outfit was Uncle Nathan's for his first Easter.

Sam is sick... as well as the entire church nursery:( Yesterday that Dr put him on a new antibiotic in hopes that his appetite will increase again and he'll kick the ear infection for good! He is definately more cuddly than normal but when he does want put down, he is off crawling all over. Yesterday after his bath he went exploring and ended up finding the bathroom. Hopefully he will be feeling more like himself in the next day or two!! Until then, enjoy his adventure:)

Sam has learned to make some noise.

This was taken just one week after the last crawling video, and as you can tell he has improved!! He is getting faster and better at his army crawl. We think it's so funny, but gone are my days of long showers while Sam is awake which isn't funny:(

Congratulations Jennifer and Kyle! You can't even imagine the love you will have for this sweet, beautiful baby girl! You are going to make great parents and I was so excited to be able to care for you the last two days. We'll be seeing you soon:) February 15 at 1:30am 7lbs 6oz

This was shot yesterday on Sam's 7 month birthday. He is really starting to move around the room (definately not the traditional crawl!!) but this is the first time I have been able to capture the movement. Eachtime he hears the video camera turn on, he stops what he is doing and stares at me!! Like I mentioned, yesterday Sam turned 7 months old. So hard to believe. As you can tell in the pictures below, it is getting very difficult to get him to sit still for a picture. He definately is a busy boy and we wouldn't want him anyother way:)

Hap has been working alot at the church and studying hard since the semester started. He has been going to bed late after working all day, playing with Sam at night and then studying until the wee hours. However, many a nights I will wake up around 3ish and realize he isn't in bed only to find him sleeping with his book open and his head back!! It must be uncomfortable. But tonight when I found him, I didn't know if he was praying or sleeping. I'll let you be the judge!! Needless to say, I am proud of all his hard work! Sam loving on daddy during a more awake time:)
