Nashville x2

We had an eventful week last week.  A friend and I went down to Nashville to visit with another friend for two nights.  It was such a fun trip.  We laughed a lot, cried a bit, and did some shopping.  Love these two friends and enjoyed our time so much I didn't take many pictures!


On Friday night, I caught back up with the family in Salem to watch the Freeburg vs. Salem football game.  We had a quick trip to Don and Suzanne's for some Halloween treats!  Andrew and Sam mostly played with friends on the Freeburg side of the field and we sat on the Salem side.




On Saturday morning, the twins went with my mom to their last soccer game while the other five of us headed back to Nashville to be with friends at a church.  While I was sad to miss their last soccer game, I'm thankful for this sweet picture!  Love these two.

When in Metropolis....



On Sunday afternoon, Abigail and Abram went to see Peppa Pig live with my parents.  They reported, in their best British accent, that they had a lovely time!


The boys were super troopers between going to bed late, getting up early, hanging out for three church services, and going to a lunch and learn afterwards.  
It's been a great Nashville week!

Looks like everyone had some FUN times - Lots of cool activities. So nice you could get away for a few days Elizabeth. I love all the pictures of the fab five.

Busy Couple Days

We have had a busy couple days trying to get everything together for our trip. My mother came over the end of last week and it has been so helpful. I have been able to do errands and gather our needed supplies for the trip. I haven't taken many pictures but we have had a fun time and the boys have enjoyed their time as well. Friday we did the majority of our packing and tonight we are going to finish up. Yesterday, we enjoyed some time at a playground in the morning. In the afternoon, my mom and Sam went to see Toy Story 3 (his first big screen movie) while Hap, Andrew and myself went to a birthday party. Sam got these glasses pictured below at Wendy's yesterday and we might try and see if security stops him in the airport:) This evening we had our last team meeting and it was a wonderful time of praying and sharing about what God has been teaching us as we prepare for this trip. Uncle Nathan, Aunt Heather and Caleb Visit

On Saturday, Nathan, Heather and Caleb came for a visit.  We had an absolutely beautiful day, and we wanted to spend the day outside.  Some people had recommended Maymont Park.  Maymont is a park that is hundreds of acres with a stone castle and barn, some animals, and lots of space for the boys to run around. Andrew wanted to get his boots wet and Aunt Heather supervised.  I am glad we crated more boots! The walk with beautiful and we enjoyed visiting along the way. There was lots of rock climbing... and lots of goats! Jacob and Caleb did a great job riding around in the strollers, but needed some time to stretch too! I love this picture of Nathan and Caleb.  He is such a great daddy and I love to see him with Caleb. Sam enjoyed a cigar at the park too.  (I joke!) The little babies ate some grass.
