Thailand Part 7: Birthday Party

In the evening, we had a great birthday party for Andrew and for another little girl who celebrated her 4th birthday!

This was Andrew's cake.  It was the only cake I could find and he loved it!
The other mother did all the decorating and she did a great job!

Sweetest 8 year old around!


Everyone was invited to come and we had plenty of cake and ice cream for everyone!

It was SO HOT AND HUMID during the party but we did manage a decent family picture.


Andrew was surrounded by sweet new friends that he made during his weeks.  I was humbled at the turnout.  It was such a great night celebrating Andrew.

These boys became great buddies!!!

And they blessed Andrew with some fun gifts.



Happy Birthday, Andrew.  We love you like crazy!!

Busy Couple Days

We have had a busy couple days trying to get everything together for our trip. My mother came over the end of last week and it has been so helpful. I have been able to do errands and gather our needed supplies for the trip. I haven't taken many pictures but we have had a fun time and the boys have enjoyed their time as well. Friday we did the majority of our packing and tonight we are going to finish up. Yesterday, we enjoyed some time at a playground in the morning. In the afternoon, my mom and Sam went to see Toy Story 3 (his first big screen movie) while Hap, Andrew and myself went to a birthday party. Uncle Nathan, Aunt Heather and Caleb Visit

On Saturday, Nathan, Heather and Caleb came for a visit.  We had an absolutely beautiful day, and we wanted to spend the day outside.  Some people had recommended Maymont Park.  Maymont is a park that is hundreds of acres with a stone castle and barn, some animals, and lots of space for the boys to run around. Andrew wanted to get his boots wet and Aunt Heather supervised.  I am glad we crated more boots! The walk with beautiful and we enjoyed visiting along the way. There was lots of rock climbing... and lots of goats! Jacob and Caleb did a great job riding around in the strollers, but needed some time to stretch too! I love this picture of Nathan and Caleb.  He is such a great daddy and I love to see him with Caleb. Sam enjoyed a cigar at the park too.  (I joke!) The little babies ate some grass.
