Tuesday

Today wasn't exactly what we planned but it turned out fun for all!  This afternoon I met, with the five kids in tow, with a potential tutor for Sam.  It was a good meeting and I think the tutoring is going to work out.  The boys did well, considering we met for around two hours in a restaurant!

After the meeting, we walked down to a small play area at the outdoor mall.





After we arrived home, I played the piano for the boys and everyone played/laid well together!

We have taken more baths over the last (almost) two weeks than the prior three years.  I kid but we are taking advantage of the hot water on demand.

Just a pretty tree outside the house we are staying at.  I love spring!

The boys are loving the outdoor space this house provides and played outside until dinner time.  These pictures are out of order because they played outside then they took a bath :)


Hap just arrived home from an impromptu trip to Kansas City with Tom.  He had been gone since Sunday and he just arrived home to his fan club giving big hugs.  Now, off to bed!

Busy Couple Days

We have had a busy couple days trying to get everything together for our trip. My mother came over the end of last week and it has been so helpful. I have been able to do errands and gather our needed supplies for the trip. I haven't taken many pictures but we have had a fun time and the boys have enjoyed their time as well. Friday we did the majority of our packing and tonight we are going to finish up. Yesterday, we enjoyed some time at a playground in the morning. In the afternoon, my mom and Sam went to see Toy Story 3 (his first big screen movie) while Hap, Andrew and myself went to a birthday party. Sam got these glasses pictured below at Wendy's yesterday and we might try and see if security stops him in the airport:) This evening we had our last team meeting and it was a wonderful time of praying and sharing about what God has been teaching us as we prepare for this trip. Uncle Nathan, Aunt Heather and Caleb Visit

On Saturday, Nathan, Heather and Caleb came for a visit.  We had an absolutely beautiful day, and we wanted to spend the day outside.  Some people had recommended Maymont Park.  Maymont is a park that is hundreds of acres with a stone castle and barn, some animals, and lots of space for the boys to run around. Andrew wanted to get his boots wet and Aunt Heather supervised.  I am glad we crated more boots! The walk with beautiful and we enjoyed visiting along the way. There was lots of rock climbing... and lots of goats! Jacob and Caleb did a great job riding around in the strollers, but needed some time to stretch too! I love this picture of Nathan and Caleb.  He is such a great daddy and I love to see him with Caleb. Sam enjoyed a cigar at the park too.  (I joke!) The little babies ate some grass.
