Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day is such fun with kids.  The last two years I have made pink pancakes for breakfast.  Last night I set the breakfast table for the morning.  Fun!



I had every intention of making pancakes but a couple "things" got in the way.....

Mid morning, the twins and I went with Hap to his English class for a little party.  I brought the mini cupcakes and cinnamon sugar popcorn, along with drinks.  Valentine's Day is just catching on in our town but I do think it is rare and new in this village.  It was fun to meet his students and visit with them.

This evening I made a (sad looking) heart pizza.  The boys were thrilled so that is all that matters but it would look like I shouldn't get into the heart shaped pizza business :)

Happy Valentine's Day! Cute cupcakes and heart pizza! And darling kiddos as always...love Abigail's red bow and Abram's expression. I bet the big boys loved their treats. Sounded like a fun day!

Busy Couple Days

We have had a busy couple days trying to get everything together for our trip. My mother came over the end of last week and it has been so helpful. I have been able to do errands and gather our needed supplies for the trip. I haven't taken many pictures but we have had a fun time and the boys have enjoyed their time as well. Friday we did the majority of our packing and tonight we are going to finish up. Yesterday, we enjoyed some time at a playground in the morning. In the afternoon, my mom and Sam went to see Toy Story 3 (his first big screen movie) while Hap, Andrew and myself went to a birthday party. Uncle Nathan, Aunt Heather and Caleb Visit

On Saturday, Nathan, Heather and Caleb came for a visit.  We had an absolutely beautiful day, and we wanted to spend the day outside.  Some people had recommended Maymont Park.  Maymont is a park that is hundreds of acres with a stone castle and barn, some animals, and lots of space for the boys to run around. Andrew wanted to get his boots wet and Aunt Heather supervised.  I am glad we crated more boots! The walk with beautiful and we enjoyed visiting along the way. There was lots of rock climbing... and lots of goats! Jacob and Caleb did a great job riding around in the strollers, but needed some time to stretch too! I love this picture of Nathan and Caleb.  He is such a great daddy and I love to see him with Caleb. Sam enjoyed a cigar at the park too.  (I joke!) The little babies ate some grass.
