Day 30: My Winter Wonderland

According to the pictures I have been seeing and the stories I have been reading about the midwest this week, our winter wonderland is well... nothing!  The weather has turned beautiful and we are so thankful.  So, our winter wonderland looks like 60 degree temperatures outside with the sun shining.  I even wore a t-shirt when I went on a walk.  No complaints, but I have seen pictures on Facebook from the lady who bought our house of our backyard and it certainly made me miss Pike Creek Blvd and the snow.

We took advantage of our winter weather and took our boys outside on Friday.  The boys rode their bikes a long way and had a blast!!

Andrew has gotten so good at his big bike.

They took a break on their ride to scare off some big birds.  They both would tip toe as close as they could and then growl at them.  The birds were big and I was slightly afraid that their would be a repeat of "Birds" movie, but thankfully no!

This is their mean scaring bird faces!  Birds don't stand a chance with faces like these.

Hap carried Jacob on his back while we walked with the boys.  Jacob enjoys riding in the backpack carrier!

It was such a fun time together enjoying our winter wonderland:)

So you think you miss the snow, huh? Well it is beautiful here with the ground covered white, but 60 and sunshine ain't too shabby! The boys are growing up, riding their bikes and going longer distances. Looks like great fun. So glad the family had a good outing on your winter day. Love, Dad and Mom
