Jacob in Pictures

Jacob is into everything these days.  He is a typical baby turning into toddler and loves to explore, climb, and get into drawers.  He wants to know just what is going on with his brothers and mess their toys up. Sometimes it causes a slight problem when he messes up their pirate ship:)

We heard Jacob yelling (which he has a bad habit of doing) and we just ignored him.  He continued to do it and when I went to look for him, he was climbing the boys ladder.  Oh my!  As a good blogging mother does, I snapped some pictures.
Jacob likes to put on and take off hats.  He had a fun time one afternoon playing with some hats laying around.  He is good at entertaining himself and I am very thankful for that.


Jacob also likes look through books and be read to.  It is one of the only times he will cuddle, so I treasure being able to read with him.  He points to everything in the book and I think he is saying "Es?" which means "What?" in Arabic when he is pointing to the pictures;)  He is just the sweetest little guy.

I just noticed the book is upside down, ha!



Happy Thursday!!  Tomorrow is one day of our weekend and then we go to Arabic and school on Saturday with Sunday off, so I like Thursday:)

Busy Couple Days

We have had a busy couple days trying to get everything together for our trip. My mother came over the end of last week and it has been so helpful. I have been able to do errands and gather our needed supplies for the trip. I haven't taken many pictures but we have had a fun time and the boys have enjoyed their time as well. Friday we did the majority of our packing and tonight we are going to finish up. Yesterday, we enjoyed some time at a playground in the morning. Uncle Nathan, Aunt Heather and Caleb Visit

On Saturday, Nathan, Heather and Caleb came for a visit.  We had an absolutely beautiful day, and we wanted to spend the day outside.  Some people had recommended Maymont Park.  Maymont is a park that is hundreds of acres with a stone castle and barn, some animals, and lots of space for the boys to run around. Andrew wanted to get his boots wet and Aunt Heather supervised.  I am glad we crated more boots! The walk with beautiful and we enjoyed visiting along the way. There was lots of rock climbing... and lots of goats! Jacob and Caleb did a great job riding around in the strollers, but needed some time to stretch too! I love this picture of Nathan and Caleb.  He is such a great daddy and I love to see him with Caleb. Sam enjoyed a cigar at the park too.  (I joke!) The little babies ate some grass.
