Little of this, little of that!

Well, I guess I'm back! I have been slacking in the posting. We have been busy, from going to the zoo, working, meeting friends for lunch, and spending time with the fam, so I just haven't had the energy to blog! Anyway, my little blogging vacation is over and I have lots to write about and lots of pictures to share:)
I try to get out and do something different and fun with the boys once a week. It is just nice to get out of the house and take advantage of what this city has to offer. So, last week the Jablonski's and us went to the zoo together. We go often, but it is always fun for Sam when his buddies Micah and Lucas are around too!! The Jablonski's are moving in almost six weeks and I can't say how heartbreaking that is for me to think about. Susan has meant so much to us, not only as a friend, but as a caretaker for Sam. Her boys are Sam's best friends and he always asks for them when we go to church or when we go anywhere for that matter. And well, Hap is in a bromance with Adam! We will surely miss them.
Sam has been loving this weather (haven't we all!?) He enjoys playing in his mud with his dump trucks and playing with his shovels. It is so fun to watch him be a "boy" outside.
Sam and Andrew have started a Praise Band in Sam's room. Sam plays the drums and whatever Andrew happens to be playing:) Andrew likes to stand up by himself on the music table and play around with the different instruments.
Today, the boys and I enjoyed some time outside playing in the backyard.
Our two swingers...
Sam just loves his brother and I am enjoying seeing their friendship develop. It joys my heart to hear Sam say "lets splash Annew ok?" in the tub. It joys my heart to see him share his tractor with Andrew so that he can have something to "play" with. It joys my heart to see Sam worried when Andrew is upset and when he accidentally knocks him over. It joys my heart to see Andrew get excited when Sam walks in to the room and show his big smile and by waving his arms. It joys my heart to watch Andrew watch all Sam does. I just feel so blessed to have been given these two precious boys and I am enjoying every minute of watching them grow up!
"Every blessing you pour out I'll turn back to praise... Blessed be the name of the Lord."

Words of wisdom...Each day your joy will multiply. Keep looking for the joy and share those joys with others. I'm glad you are off your "blogging vacation". You do a wonderful job. What a joy it is for this long distance Grandma and Grandpa. Love you.
