We Got Out Wednesday!

We had plans to go to the museum today with some friends, but mom and girl both ended up sick, so we headed out by ourselves to the Children's Museum. I am SO thankful for a museum membership (thanks mom and dad). It is only about 15 minutes from us and it is a fun thing to do for a few hours. Sam has a blast and Andrew really enjoyed some of the little stuff, like the mirrors and cushy squares to play on. Once he starts crawling he will have even more fun.
Sam loves it all of course. He enjoyed playing with the trains today. They have a huge steam engine that he enjoys exploring and also playing with the train table.

The main reason we went today was to see the Bob the Builder exhibit. Sam loves Bob the Builder and can sing the theme song, so needless to say, he was excited to get to experience the exhibit today! I didn't get many pictures, but Sam "drove" all the Bob equipment, like Lofty, Rollie, and Scoop. Here the boys are sitting on Muck!! (They don't look excited, but they had a great time!!)


We also rode the carousel, played in the sand and traveled to Egypt!! We will be heading back, so I'll get lots more pictures to share from the Bob the Builder exhibit! Another great thing about the museum is it always produces great naps from the boys:)

I was just thinking of you all and saw the ad for Bob the Builder!! How fun you got to see it... Looked like lots of fun! Andrew is growing like a weed and looks so much like Mommy!! :-) I am jealous and wanna come play soon :-)

Elizabeth-I have been checking in on your blog from time to time. We've been blogging a bit, too. Looks like you are all doing well. The boys are adorable and growing up quickly. We'll have to meet up when we make it over to Indy next time. Take care!

Busy Couple Days

We have had a busy couple days trying to get everything together for our trip. My mother came over the end of last week and it has been so helpful. I have been able to do errands and gather our needed supplies for the trip. I haven't taken many pictures but we have had a fun time and the boys have enjoyed their time as well. Friday we did the majority of our packing and tonight we are going to finish up. Yesterday, we enjoyed some time at a playground in the morning. Uncle Nathan, Aunt Heather and Caleb Visit

On Saturday, Nathan, Heather and Caleb came for a visit.  We had an absolutely beautiful day, and we wanted to spend the day outside.  Some people had recommended Maymont Park.  Maymont is a park that is hundreds of acres with a stone castle and barn, some animals, and lots of space for the boys to run around. Andrew wanted to get his boots wet and Aunt Heather supervised.  I am glad we crated more boots! The walk with beautiful and we enjoyed visiting along the way. There was lots of rock climbing... and lots of goats! Jacob and Caleb did a great job riding around in the strollers, but needed some time to stretch too! I love this picture of Nathan and Caleb.  He is such a great daddy and I love to see him with Caleb. Sam enjoyed a cigar at the park too.  (I joke!) The little babies ate some grass.
