Today wasn't exactly what we planned but it turned out fun for all!  This afternoon I met, with the five kids in tow, with a potential tutor for Sam.  It was a good meeting and I think the tutoring is going to work out.  The boys did well, considering we met for around two hours in a restaurant! After the meeting, we walked down to a small play area at the outdoor mall. After we arrived home, I played the piano for the boys and everyone played/laid well together! We have taken more baths over the last (almost) two weeks than the prior three years.  I kid but we are taking advantage of the hot water on demand. Just a pretty tree outside the house we are staying at.  I love spring! The boys are loving the outdoor space this house provides and played outside until dinner time.  These pictures are out of order because they played outside then they took a bath :) Hap just arrived home from an impromptu trip to Kansa...

Playing in the Park

Today the babies sported their Cardinals attire to cheer on the Cards!  Abram doesn't look thrilled but Abigail was!  I couldn't get them both to smile for the life of me without their hands in their faces... either way, precious babies! I loaded the car up this morning and headed to the park with the kids.  When we left the house it was warm and sunny but by the time we left the park it was chilly and sprinkling on us.  It was a new park for the boys and they enjoyed themselves. I realised/saw today that the new "uniform" for mothers in the States is crop leggings with a workout looking shirt.  Shoe options are either tennis shoes, like you might really work out, or stylish flats, which indicate the leggings are just for looks (see picture below)!  Interesting how things have changed and became popular in this last three years! In the summer they have a splash pad that we will definitely have to try out. With all the rain th...

Time in Patoka

Image
We traveled back to Illinois on Wednesday to visit in Patoka with Hap's family.  We had a fabulous time! Beau and Hunter are so wonderful with the babies.  Beau was able to meet the twins for the first time since he was unable to come to the airport.  Beau and Hunter are such great young men! Papa Carl cuddling with Jacob. Sam was excited to see Uncle Zeb arrive and immediately put his work helmet on. Uncle Zeb and Abram Hap sporting his overalls feeding the cows on Thursday morning. After the rain the night before there were plenty of puddles for the boys to walk in!  Perfect for little guys. I love these four so much. Carl took the boys on the mule to "help" him feed the cows.  They basically watched the action from the mule and loved it! I had plenty of hands to hold and love on the babies inside the house.  Gigi was getting lots of smiles and talking from Abigail. Abram cuddling with Grandma Je...
