Freeburg Halloween Parade
Hap went out of town yesterday and today my parents came over to see the kids in their Halloween costumes. Freeburg has a fun tradition the Sunday before Halloween for the town kids.
We have Abigail as Cinderella, Jacob as a Palestinian, Abram as Gekko, and Sam and Andrew as Army soldiers. This was the year of buying costumes for me and it was fabulous plus the kids were thrilled!

We walked down to the City Square and the middle school band led the way playing songs as we paraded to the middle school.

Peace in the Middle East ;)
Once inside the gym, they did a fun, free age-based raffle for the kids.
The kids got on the stage and waited to see if their number was called.
Anxiously awaiting!
Andrew won!
So did Abigail! And so did Jacob, I just didn't get his prize picture.
Then we walked to the Primary Center for a Trunk or Treat in the parking lot.
They walked away with lots of candy and had a good time.
Abram needed a picture with the police officer!
It was such a beautiful, fun afternoon and a really neat tradition that Freeburg does for the kids.
