Christmas Eve Eve

Today is Christmas Eve Eve and the boys celebrated by opening some presents. My parents came last night and spent the night before heading out to Nathan and Heather's new home to celebrate Christmas with them. They came bearing gifts and the boys opened them up with eager anticipation.

The first gift was for Andrew, which Sam helped with!

Andrew is an old pro at this present stuff, he has gotten lots of practice for Christmas morning:)
A whizz and spin parking garage!!
The boys LOVE it!! They have played with it all day long. Seeing the cars go down the ramp is fun for them and they are sharing so nicely! Then it was Sam's present. What could it be?
Oh... did I mention we are watching Ned for the weekend. The boys are having a blast with him too!! Andrew can say "Ned" and Sam likes to feed him treats! Back to the presents. Sam received a mega wooden xylophone! Say what? Yep, a mega wooden xylophone. He really likes it, it is the perfect addition for his praise band:) His favorite song so far is "On Top of Spaghetti" but he likes to play anything really!

It comes with music, but it is better just to make a joyful noise!

Thanks for the presents Grandma Betty and Grandpa Mark! Don't worry about Ned, he is sleeping in Sam's room right now!!
One of my favorite new songs from the season, Meredith Andrews version of 'God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman', says this:
"He has come for us, this Jesus.
He is the hope for all mankind!
He has come for us, the Messiah.
Born to give us Life!"
May this truth me every present in your life, not just the next few days!
Merry Christmas Eve Eve:)

We will be back through on Monday morning....what time is the xylophone concert? We'll get front row seats. Thanks for keeping Ned. We know he is in good hands. Merry Christmas! Dad and Mom

The xylophone was a big hit and all enjoyed a song or two being played on it! Praises to God, rejoice in the Jolliff household.
