Prayer Guide for Pac Rim Trip

Please join us in praying for our upcoming trip to the Pac Rim:
June 16- Pray for our physical preparation as we train for strenuous hiking as a team.
June 17- Pray for adequate rest on our travel over. Travel time with be approximately 40 hours.
June 18- Pray for the hearts of those we will have the opportunity to witness to.
June 19- Pray that our witness would glorify Christ.
June 20- Pray for J & A to have wisdom as they make final preparations for teams coming this summer.
June 21- Pray that J & A would be encouraged as they spend time with other Kindgom workers this week.
June 22- Pray for our teammates, Eric and Bernard, who will be spending over 1 month in country.
June 23- Pray for the opportunity to testify this week as to why we would go around the world with our boys.
June 24- Pray for Elizabeth as she gathers our needs for packing and supplies for in country.
June 25- Pray for Hap as he finishes up work that needs done at Northside.
June 26- Pray for Sam and Andrew's health and ability to be adaptable.
June 27- Pray for a unified spirit as the teams gather for prayer tonight.

June 28- Pray for final preparation and continued good health.
June 29- Pray for timely connections as we travel from Indy- Charolette- Houston- Moscow this day.
June 30- Pray for timely connections as we travel from Moscow- Singapore- Medan this day.

We will have another prayer guide that will bring us through the trip as we get closer to time. Thank you for joining together with us in prayer for this trip!

This is a rainbow that was outside our house tonight after the storm. It reminds me not only of the promise that God gave to Noah that the earth would never be flooded but that God is faithful to fulfill His promises. The Bible says in Psalm 145:13 "The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made." Praise be to God for what he is doing and what he is going to do through this trip!

AJ Early Bird

Today was the first day of cross country season for the Junior High team.  The thing about XC is that the work is put in during the summer months with early morning runs, afternoon runs, track workouts, and hill repeats.  All that work starts to become evident during these days when the races start. Jacob woke up feeling excited to get the season started.  Abigail work up at 5:48am to fix her hair and get ready for the bus.  Abram was pretty nervous as he woke up. 5th grade girls The kids ran their hearts out and did so well for the first meet. Jacob placed 2nd for his team and 3rd overall to help the boys varsity team clutch 1st place for Varsity Boys team.  Abigail looked strong and had an overall 4th place finish for the JV girls and placed 2nd for her team. Abram looked blocked it at the beginning but certainly made up for it with a strong ending to finish 1st place in the JV boys race. Let's go Tigers!

Uncle Nathan, Aunt Heather and Caleb Visit

On Saturday, Nathan, Heather and Caleb came for a visit.  We had an absolutely beautiful day, and we wanted to spend the day outside.  Some people had recommended Maymont Park.  Maymont is a park that is hundreds of acres with a stone castle and barn, some animals, and lots of space for the boys to run around. Andrew wanted to get his boots wet and Aunt Heather supervised.  I am glad we crated more boots! The walk with beautiful and we enjoyed visiting along the way. There was lots of rock climbing... and lots of goats! Jacob and Caleb did a great job riding around in the strollers, but needed some time to stretch too! I love this picture of Nathan and Caleb.  He is such a great daddy and I love to see him with Caleb. Sam enjoyed a cigar at the park too.  (I joke!) The little babies ate some grass. Summer flew by, as it always does, and we are looking forward to a great school year! I forgot a group shot because Sam had Senior Sunrise Breakfast on the first day and was up and going to school at 6:30am!
