Tuesday At Home

The boys and I spent the majority of the day at home today. Sam went to school this morning but other than that, we were homebodies!! Which is always a nice. So, what does a 2 year old do when stuck inside all day?
Load Gatorade bottles and soda bottles into his excavator...

and unload them in his room!

One of his new favorite things to do is perform for us. He comes by that naturally I'm afraid. He likes for us to pull out his mattress under his bed and he arranges his drum and piano. He will play the drum and then play on his instrument table. He gets its just how he wants it and goes to town. He keeps asking Hap for a microphone, so maybe for his birthday we'll get him a little karaoke thing with a microphone!

At school today they handed out forms to register for next year. It was kinda bittersweet to see that Sam will be in the 3 year old class. It just seems so old and big to me. He is growing up and learning so much so quickly, it is so fun to watch his little brain figure things out!! It was a fun Tuesday at home but hopefully tomorrow we will get out.
Happy Tuesday!

I think that boy is thirsty! Looks like he has a variety to choose from! Just wait until Andrew can join him in the mini performances. Of course, being the older of the two, Sam will be the director and emcee. Lots of fun to be had at the Jolliff house! Love, Grandma J

How cute! At least Sam performs in his room and not with the air band on the roof...that time is to come!
