Ordination.Weekend.
This weekend, Hap was ordained into the Ministry. This doesn't mean he is something "more special" but that the church is recognizing his call into full time ministry and bestowing blessing on him. (Simplistic, I know) So, we had lots of fun this weekend with family coming into town. On Saturday afternoon, Hap's parents, brother Zeb, Grandmother, and nephew Hunter came over. The guys went golfing and I never really did hear how everyone did. Later that afternoon, Aunt Sally and Uncle Neal came over. Hunter and Sam had an awesome time playing together. Hunter is a great older cousin to Sam. We went out to eat that evening and then headed to bed. Hunter stayed with us and Sam had his first slumber party at his house:) Hunter sleeps a little later than Sam does and so Sunday morning Sam was trying to wake him up by throwing his stuffed animals at him!
This picture was when I was up feeding Andrew, they both ended up in the same bed somehow:)
On Sunday, my parents arrived at the church and joined the Jolliff's for the morning worship service. During the service, they had a special prayer time and presented Hap with a study bible.
Here is the Jolliff Clan that celebrated the weekend with us.
After church, we had a picnic for the community. It was perfect weather and the food was great. Everyone stayed and enjoyed sometime together. Here Lucas J is looking awfully cute:)
The grandmother's checking out Mr.Andrew.After the picnic, Jay, Jen, Hunter, Beau and Sally and Neal came to our house. The boys enjoyed playing outside and it was nice to get to visit with Jennifer and Sally some more.
We tried to get the boys picture but, Sam really wasn't having it. You can tell Beau is trying to get Sam to stay still but it wasn't too successful:)
Thanks to everyone who came over for the weekend. It was a fun time and we are thankful for anytime we can get together.
