Vacation.Details.

Ok, here is all you would ever want to know about our vacation!
Two weekends ago, Hap, Sam and I headed to Illinois to visit with family. On Sunday we headed to Brentwood, TN and went to an awesome church that Jay Strother works at. It was a great time of visiting with their family that evening. On Monday we headed to our final destination, Gatlinburg, TN!
It took us fourish hours to get to our cabin from Nashville. Sam did awesome. He played with toys, looked at books and played peek-a-boo with me! He was a trooper.
I already posted pictures of the cabin, but it was awesome. It was so relaxing and enjoyable. Sam loved to play with his toys while Hap and I played pool. (I won't say who won the most games)
On Tuesday we all went hiking. The Jablonski's let us borrow their backpack and we hiked for half a day. It was so fun and Sam enjoyed it alot. He was smiling and pointing out things along the way. At one point we were on heightened black bear alert but never saw any. I think we were both a little sad we didn't see one:) Hap carried Sam on the way up and I on the way down.
Wednesday it rained all day, so we drove to the top of the mountain and in the afternoon we just relaxed around the cabin. We wished we could have hiked on Wednesday but the leaves on the drive up were beautiful.
We headed home on Thursday and again, Sam did great in the car. We stopped once during a seven hour car ride! Again, the trees and drive were beautiful. We so enjoyed our time together to spend as a family. We have so much fun when we are together.
Sorry to go into so much detail, but this is my way of scrapbooking it! Enjoy the pictures!

Maybe Sam saw a bear that you and Hap didn't! Glad you enjoyed your time away together. Memories are made everyday and cherish each one. Love, Grandma J
