Back to yesterday! We started the day off with the boys opening birthday presents from my mom.  It worked out well for them to have the gifts for the car ride. Then we headed to the lowest place on earth... and maybe the hottest :) My mom was brave and rode the camel with the boys.  The facial expressions are priceless here!! Ahhh... that's a better picture! The man who was "driving" the camel was funny and really patient. We then headed to one of the sites of Matthew 3:13-17.  We all put our hands in the river. Hap has been wanting to visit this site and I am glad that it worked out. The site was so quiet and peaceful.  I liked this site and could imagine over 2000 years ago the events taking place at this site. Today was nice day spent with my mom and the boys.  In the morning, Jacob went to childcare while the rest of us went shopping.  The boys did great and enjoyed some special treats along the way.  My mom and I used to shop a lot when she visited in Indy but after kids was a little more difficult, today was fun though. This afternoon after some quiet time, my mom fixed dinner while I worked around the house and Hap had some things to do out of the house.  I didn't take a single picture until dinner tonight eating spaghetti.  Jacob is using his spoon and feeding himself so great but he still makes a little, cute mess with his dinner :)

Call us beach bums if you will but we decided to start our vacation week off with another trip to the beach.  It was so beautiful and so much fun again!!  The boys enjoyed themselves even more than last time, the water was refreshing and the time together was priceless.   I took over 200 pictures today on my camera but so many times during the day I thought "I want to remember this moment"... the way the boys laughed and played together, the wonder of a fish (and jellyfish) in a bucket, little toes in the sand, the excitement to watch a sunset. Enjoy! God made a great big wonderful world and I'm so thankful we get to enjoy it! "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Genesis 1:1
