The Jolliff Family

We can hardly believe that this time last year we were anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new baby!  Jacob has had a big first year- calling 5 places home, having been in 3 countries, and has been kissed by countless strangers! Enjoy a little video from this past year! More pictures tomorrow!

Jacob conquers one more piece of furniture in our house!! I was just practicing taking some pictures and next thing I knew he was climbing onto the bottom shelf.  He is such a BIG boy and he knows it:) I wonder what will be next?

Last night we enjoyed a picnic with fellow team members in the area.  The weather turned out to be perfect and the kids all enjoyed running around and playing while we talked.  It was a great place to meet up! The boys enjoyed some bubbles that a friend brought. Jacob ate like a champ, potato salad, chicken, pita bread, and a cookie!  He is so close to walking and wants to keep up with his brothers. "Sam J. was a wee little man and a wee little man was he.  He climbed up in an olive tree for the picnic he wanted to see..." Andrew was dancing around with a friend and they were having a blast making each other laugh! The boys have learned to do hand stands at the babysitters house.  Sam is pretty good and can do it all by himself. Andrew is still learning but it won't be long before he masters it! We thought Sam started school next Saturday but found out this evening it has been delayed a few days, it really starts August 29th...

To prove my point that Jacob climbs in EVERYTHING, I snapped some pictures today while I was cleaning up dinner!!  He opened the drawer, climbed in, and started playing... all by himself!  Enjoy:)

Sam and Andrew's imaginations continue to take them places.  They are still on a firefighter kick and their imaginations allow them to transform into firefighters and go fight fires. Today, all on their own, they put their fire masks on, their "goggles" and their backpacks.  They pretended their backpacks were water tanks.  They walk with a little strut when they have all their equipment on and talk with lower voices to each other, it is hilarious!  And yes, today it was 93 degrees here, felt like 100... but come on, when duty calls!!:) Happy Monday!

Jesus said "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vineyard keeper. Every branch in Me that does not produce fruit He removes, and He prunes every branch that produces fruit so that it will produce more fruit. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in Me, and I in you.  Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches.  The one who remains in Me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without Me." John 15: 1-5 Lord, Help me to continually remain in You.

Our boys keep us laughing!! Here is Sam after he took off his hat.  His hair was crazy and he thought it was so funny!! Andrew fell asleep tonight at the dinner table.  Sometimes you just need to sleep:) Jacob continues to climb into everything.  This time, however, he chose a small box to climb into. I imagine him saying what Everett said on "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou"... "..., I'm in a tight spot!" Happy Friday Folks!
