The Jolliff Family

Sam and I went to the Little Egypt Festival in Salem on Saturday. I haven't been in a couple years, and this was Sam's first year to attend the parade. He enjoyed the fire trucks, bands and candy!!:) He did get tired though and had to rest his head (don't worry he was far away from the vehicles).

Today while I was cleaning the kitchen, Sam wanted to play with some of the kitchen bowls and spoons. He loves to do this so then I thought it would be fun to make Hap a pumpkin pie, which Hap loves. So, Sam stood on a chair and "helped" stir the batter and taste tested with his hands!! We had such a fun day today.

Here are some pictures from the play date Sam had yesterday with some of the kids from my work. We all commented how much they have changed since we started monthly play dates in January. They are all walking and starting to talk. They were so cute together. Already looking forward to next month!

I LOVE fall!! The weather is great, the leaves are beautiful and the candy corn tastes good! Sam enjoys this weather too. Here is our lovely front door fall display with our home grown pumpkins! The pumpkins didn't get as big as they did last year, but they look good none-the-less! Happy Fall:) Also, big big big congratulations to Nathan and Heather who were engaged last night! We love Heather and are so excited to "offically" welcome her into our family. Nathan and Heather compliment eachother so well and we look forward to seeing what the Lord will do in their lives both individually and as a couple! Congratulations Nathan and Heather!:)

Here are some pictures of Sam at Grandma and Grandpa Jolliff's house. Though his cousin Hunter looks just like his mom, the top picture reminds me of Hunter!! I have never thought that before this picture. Must just be the blonde hair and red hat!! Enjoy.

Last week, Sam and I went to Illinois and had a quick visit with my aunt Nancy, cousin Jennifer and her two kids. We met at a park and the boys had a great time together. It was so funny because they were dressed alike, totally unplanned!! They instantly began "playing" together. Sam liked Catherine and wanted to kiss her, but didn't quite know about mommy holding another baby!! Unfortunately, the boys had a little too much fun patting Catherine on the bottom... they thought it was hilarious!! Catherine couldn't be any more laid back and is such a cutie!! We enjoyed the afternoon, hope you enjoy the pictures.

Sam has found a new hiding place and it's great fun to crawl behind the couch to play:) It's so cute when he does it. I love this stage!
